I had the great pleasure of working on a Tiny House from start to finish.

With council approval the existing double garage on the property was converted to a Tiny House.

Client design.

The client and I worked closely throughout the project to utilise the space and bring her vision to life.  She had a very clear idea of the aesthetic and design. Self contained, enough storage, custom made furniture, practical, efficient use of space.

A part from an electrician and plumber, I was the only tradesperson working on the project. This meant I could work on the project exclusively, book the electrician and plumber in and  together work around each others schedules so the project didn’t stop and start. The Tiny House was finished without delays and the homeowner could settle into her new home as soon as possible.

*When I start on a project I work on it exclusively. I don’t jump from project to project or leave the work site constantly (that would be a waste of my time and your time).

Project details:

Complete fit out of Tiny House.

Lining Boards on ceiling and walls.

Floorboards.

Architraves and skirting.

Kitchen. Including shelving on wall, cabinetry, pantry, tiling.

Bed.

Bedroom cabinetry.

All cabinetry in lounge room space and bathroom.

Table.

Blanket box for extra storage.

Internal door.

Fully insulated the walls and ceiling.

I also installed all of the windows (they were aluminium double glazed).

Deck and garden boxes.

 

I’ve worked on smaller homes, in small rooms and on small projects but not a complete Tiny House from start to finish. With housing becoming so expensive a Tiny House can be a great living option. Especially when you can design it specifically to your needs and make efficient use of space that in rental accomodation can sometimes be wasted.
