Bespoke Details.
Hello,
Today, I’m sharing a project from November 2019.
A familiar historic home to many in the Huon Valley, the home owners wanted to replace some of the well worn timber features like for like. My brief was to create custom made ornate details replicating the old details that will last another hundred years.
Bespoke handrails and verandah detailing, handmade by me from lengths of solid Tasmanian Oak timber. I also replaced the verandah floor boards.
A pleasure to work with the client’s who like myself, are invested in restoring our heritage buildings and not replacing them.
The house had a paint refresh once my work was completed using the original colour palette.
I’m really happy to custom make bespoke detailing or, like in the above case, replicate and replace.
Bespoke details can really elevate a building, add capital to your property as well as character and charm. I’ve included some photos below of previous work.
It is worth mentioning that while I am passionate about restoring our heritage buildings (like I mentioned above), I’m also really happy to work to your designs, from the more tradition/farmhouse/country styles through to modern styles.

For Tasmanians living outside of these areas, due to client demand bespoke kitchens, double or single glazed doors and windows, screen doors, furniture, cabinetry, bathroom vanities, and gates can now be collected from the Huon Valley.
