Hello and welcome to my monthly newsletter.
House Keeping:
With February being a shorter month it does feel like a lot has been packed into it, even if much has been done behind the scenes.
As well as completing and delivering some projects, there has been lots of emails back and forth with three new clients working out details for some exciting projects coming up. I value these emails because it is important to make sure that all the details are covered at the front end of a project as it saves any confusion/miscommunication during the project and neither of us want any confusion or miscommunication.
On Thursday I delivered a glazing sample to a client who was enquiring about UV tinted glazing. I‘m really happy to leave the glazing sample with you while you decide and appreciate that making a decision can’t be rushed.
Last week I took timber samples to a site meeting for a kitchen. Once you decide which timber you are going to use and if you are going to varnish or stain the timber, I’m happy to give you some timber samples to test out different stains/varnish.
Nothing beats holding a sample in your hand to help you make project decisions.

At home:
The garden is starting to look like it always does at the end of Summer, in need of some love and care as well as harvesting and maintaining the crops day to day. My wife and I try to spend that hour between finishing work and dinner time in the garden. It’s a good way to wind down from the day even if it is only watering, some light weeding and the odd bit of tidying up.
With the cooler Autumn days not to far off I’ve double checked the fire wood supply.
The tomatoes and zucchini’s are finally hitting their stride. The pumpkins have a good way to go though, so are the quinces.
A short newsletter this month and delivered a few days later than hoped, but thank you for being here and please let me know if I can add anything to the March newsletter.

I’ve been living and working in the Huon Valley for over 15 years now.
Building long lasting respectful client relationships is important to me. It’s always a pleasure to work with returning clients and if you are a new client my hope is that you become a returning client too.
Let me know how I can help you with your project, there is a Contact Form below.
Thank you for being here and valuing craftsmanship that is cost effective.
Until next time,
Michael
