To arrange a site visit, I do need as much notice as possible. Preferably two weeks in advance.
This way I can arrange my working week to accomodate your site visit without compromising my commitment to completing another clients project.
Interstate and Overseas Clients.
I do have several interstate clients and one overseas client. If you are travelling from interstate or overseas we can arrange a time that suits both of us. I definitely don’t need to know your arrival and departure dates.
I appreciate that when you are at your holiday home time is limited. Together we can organise as many details as possible before the site visit. No question is a wrong question and I’d prefer you ask away. We can correspond by email (I don’t use Whats App), this way all communication is in one place for us both to use as a reference and refer back to.
Privacy and Confidentiality.
I love my work and an important part of it is building trusting, respectful relationships with clients, a strong foundation for working together. Confidentiality also plays an important role in a respectful working relationship. For this reason I don’t disclose how much an individual client’s project costs to a third party and I never discuss where a client lives or the location of a property. The same rule applies for every client, regardless of whether my work has appeared in a national magazine, a book, tv show or whether you know the home owner that I have worked with and are interested in how much something I made cost.

Install Days.
The majority of my work is done off site except for install days.
On install days I’d prefer if you were home.
Some frequently asked questions.
Q. I’m wanting work done on my holiday home and live interstate/overseas, can I arrange for a neighbour to leave a key out and then do a video call with you?
A. I prefer not to do this for several reasons.
Q. Can you drop in when you are driving around the area?
A. For several reasons I prefer not to do this. I’ll never drop in unannounced. With only so many hours in the day, my work days are planned to work efficiently on client projects and get the project completed as soon as possible. Your time is precious and I don’t wish for you to be waiting around wondering if I will or won’t call in.

Booking a site visit.
If I’m taking the time to make a site visit to your property can you please make sure that you are there. Appreciating that life happens and plans sometimes have to be changed, can you let me know asap if you can’t make the appointment.
I’ll always confirm a site visit.
Thank you for valuing Tasmanian made that is cost effective without compromising on craftsmanship and quality.

Until next time,
