“Had Michael do our new kitchen.
Amazing value and outstanding results. Could not be happier.”

*It is important to note that site visits always happen but for the first step in a kitchen project, I always ask clients to send me through the following:
2. A plan of the kitchen, doesn’t have to be fancy, can be hand drawn. As long as I have the approximate measurements – this way I know what lengths of timber are required.
3. Photos of the area in your home where the new kitchen is being installed. E.g. Photos of your existing kitchen where the new kitchen cabinetry/kitchen island is going to being installed.
4. Your choice of materials. E.g. Sustainable Tasmanian Oak. Blackwood. Myrtle. Please note that I do not use wood veneer, I only use solid timber.
Once you send through the above project details (the inspiration photos, plan/measurements, photos of where the new kitchen is being installed and your materials of choice):
I’ll work out a rough estimate. I always hope to get the estimate back to you within the week. I shop around to get the best prices to keep your project as cost effective as possible without compromising on the quality of the materials.
After you have seen the rough estimate, if you would like to move forward with the work, we can arrange a phone call before the site visit to go over any details, no question is a wrong question. A phone call is a great way to keep communication open until the scheduled site visit. I am very flexible and we can arrange a time that suits us both.
Site visits:
Site visits usually happen within a week to ten days of you letting me know that you would like to go ahead with the project.
To give your kitchen project the attention it deserves, I only do quotes, phone calls and site visits during business hours, not after hours when you or I maybe more rushed, already had a full day, have family commitments like getting dinner on the table.
Just like with a phone call, we can arrange a time that suits us both. I am very flexible and ask that if I am making the commitment to be at your home, you make the commitment to be there.
I can bring along timber samples.
Why I plan these initial steps before a site visit:
Good to know:
It’s important to me that working together is as stress free as possible.
Open communication is important which is why I schedule phone calls and site visits. Making sure all the details are covered at the front end of a project saves any confusion/miscommunication during the project and neither of us want any confusion or miscommunication.
All correspondence is done via my email allhomerenosandmaintenance@gmail.com (not whatsapp, Instagram or Facebook DM’s) this way we can keep all correspondence in one place and it becomes an archive for us both to return to and reference if need be.
I’ve made many kitchens, some have been photographed for magazines, books and this year on tv. I’ve also made many lovely kitchens that have remained private work.
I only book a job in when a deposit is paid. From paying your deposit through to me completing the project and install/delivery, I send regular updates via email or text if you prefer.
We work closely together. I don’t begin a project unless you have approved it and I definitely don’t take it upon myself to change a design half way through a project, there is no reason to.
