I make a range of Internal and External doors that are cost effective:

French doors, Dutch doors, barn doors, solid exterior and interior doors, doors with single or double glazing, doors with glazing above the door, fly screen doors, door frames.

All the doors I make are solid timber and are not made from veneer, they are not made from coated mdf and they are not hollow.

It depends on your design or preference. For example Tasmanian Oak, Blackwood, Myrtle, Wattle.

The carpentry work I do is usually as cost effective as an off the shelf  mass produced, imported, factory made item.

Craftsmanship, using quality local materials, working together respectfully, making something to your specific design and measurements – these are things that a mass produced item doesn’t have.

I shop around and compare prices to keep your project as cost effective as possible.

I prefer to use Tasmanian and Australian sustainably sourced timbers and have very good long standing relationships with my building suppliers.

Cost does not include install, painting or varnishing, or hardware (eg. hinges/handles/locks).

To keep costs down, you can install the door and I can give you some tips; collection is from the Huon Valley, or I can install the door/doors for you.

 I always use safety glass for single or double glazing on doors depending on your preference.

For example, internal doors could have single safety glazing, external doors could have double safety glazing.
