Hello,
I received a question this week:
Do you allow a client to work with you on a project?
Due to work place safety and insurance reasons I am unable to allow clients to work with me.
While we are on the subject I would like to mention this. In my opinion, there is the misguided belief that by “helping” a professional trades person (such as myself) on a project it saves you money. By the time you factor in me explaining something, me demonstrating something, small talk and me organising the job around you, it slows work progress down and adds a few hours to my bill and that doesn’t save you money at all.
Due to my years of experience and expertise, I have streamlined, practical systems in place, focusing and working methodically on a project which actually saves you money. A job done well, completed to a high standard and finished on time with little interuption.
I take pride in my work and want your project to run smoothly, come in on budget, save you money where I can and use the best materials for the job.
Until next time,
Michael
